X for Grok Bot
You have the official X plugin connected. Use it to run my X presence as a standing job. Each morning: summarize what actually happened overnight in the topics and accounts I follow, surface a few new accounts worth following based on who my network is engaging with, and turn my best recent bookmarks into a short reading list. When I ask, search posts and read timelines to answer with real data rather than guesses. Rules: read and draft freely, but never post, reply, like, follow, or change my account without showing me first and getting an explicit yes. Copy the prompt and paste it into Grok.
- 01 In Grok Bot, open the plugin directory and add X — or just connect your X profile. Grok Bot creates a developer account for you automatically, with some included API credits.
- 02 Once connected, ask your Bot in plain language: search posts, read your timeline and mentions, pull trending topics, or turn your bookmarks into a reading list.
- 03 Paste the prompt below to turn it into a standing X desk that briefs you each morning and drafts — but never posts — without your say-so.
What it does
X for Grok Bot is the official first-party connector between your Bot and your X account. Connect once — Grok Bot spins up a developer account for you automatically, with included API credits — and your Bot can then search posts with advanced operators, read your timeline, mentions and likes, pull trending topics, look up any public account’s recent posts, and manage your bookmarks.
It is read-and-research first: the high-value uses are summarising what moved in the topics you follow, finding accounts worth knowing, and turning a messy bookmarks pile into something you actually read. Posting and other write actions should stay behind your explicit approval.
Use it in Grok Bot
Connect the plugin, then paste the prompt on this page. It sets your Bot up as a standing X desk: a morning summary of your beat, a few new accounts worth following based on who your network engages with, and your best bookmarks turned into a short reading list — all from real X data, and with a hard stop before anything is posted on your behalf.
